What is "remote collaboration"? Remote collaboration exists when multiple graphic arts creators are not in the same place at the same time. Remote collaboration may exist between locations in the same building -- or between continents, time zones and cultures. Regardless of how remote collaboration occurs, there are universal requirements: instructions and comments must be communicated efficiently and clearly. For DigitalCustom, the necessity to communicate efficiently and clearly about custom digital editing projects -- on a worldwide basis -- became the mother of an invention.GATEPOSTis the invention.

When DigitalCustom put GATEPOST into operation, Digitalcustom learned that GATEPOST does much more than allow people who are not physically together to work together -- GATEPOST allows all graphic artists, art directors, photographers, ad-marketing professionals and other creative collaborators to work together better, even when remote collaboration is not taking place.

DigitalCustom's "Graphical And Textual POST-production instruction tool" -- GATEPOST -- is used by DigitalCustom and is available for license as a stand-alone application.
