Description:
"Burning" is the term traditionally used by photographers to describe the selective darkening of an image area by exposing an area of a
photosensitive surface to more light. Digital editing technology allows burning to be replicated through entirely non-photographic procedures.
Cost Considerations:
Digital burning, and other selective shading and coloring techniques, are basic image editing procedures. The cost of burning rises as the customer requests
increased levels of precision. (Precise burning is not always desireable from a creative perspective.) Price range: $15-$40/high res image (volume rates available).
